Role
Who you are
- Experience building and running software on public cloud (Azure, GCP or other cloud)
- Design and development of infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM, or other similar technologies
- Ability to automate pipelines, repeating workflows, and experience in scripting languages
- Experience with Pipeline tools, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other similar tools
- Experience with Java/Go/Node or any other compiled-language
- Awareness of, and ability to reason about, modern software & systems architectures, including load-balancing, performance tuning, availability, business continuity, fault tolerant distributed systems, microservices, and so on
- Independent and self-managed but shines when in a team, communicating well, and exercising initiative when presented with problems
- Experience developing software on Public Cloud. Microsoft Azure is most relevant but experiences in GCP or other cloud provider are useful as well
- Experience with PaaS infrastructure design and development
- Experience with infrastructure as code, pipeline as code
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Experience with Docker
- Proficiency in Bash
- Experience with performance engineering, chaos engineering, and telemetry
What the job involves
- Incorporate industry best-practices in Cloud and DevOps automation development and tools to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure product
- Develop compliant and secure infrastructure using infrastructure as code
- Optimize cloud infrastructure cost and right-size infrastructure to get the best value from cloud investments
- Create CI/CD pipelines for fully automated deployments of infrastructure and applications in Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Collaborate with both in-team and out-team members, share knowledge and contribute to the community of practice
- Ensure infrastructure is provisioned following Maersk Cloud Architecture and adoption patterns
- Set up cloud infrastructure observability and monitoring using Application Insight, Azure Monitor, Datadog, PagerDuty, and the Cloud Centre of Excellence own Centralized Monitoring Solution
- Ensure products follow DevOps recommended practices and execution
- Guide products to achieve high-availability and disaster recovery in a cloud context
- Implement performance engineering, telemetry integration, and chaos engineering best practices

Maersk is a Copenhagen-based integrated container logistics company. Originally known for its fleet of enormous ships, the company is now active in ocean and inland freight transformation and related services, including supply chain management and port operation.
