Role
Who you are
- 1 or 2 years of experience in similar roles (Controller, FP&A, etc), in FMCG industry. Knowledge of Commercial Controlling is mandatory (have managed commercial agreements with customers)
- Analytical skills to interpret market data, consumer insights, and financial metrics for decision-making. Knowledge of Excel & Power BI. Ideally SAP
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Growth mindset to anticipate market trends and develop innovative solutions and proactively seek new opportunities
- Flexibility to thrive in an ever-changing structure and manage overlapping responsibilities
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to tackling daily challenges with creativity and initiative
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field

- And that's why we are looking for a Controller Comercial FMCG to join the Good Rebels team and help us drive the growth, profitability, and competitiveness of our product portfolio
- As a key member of Heura’s Product team, you will provide financial analysis, strategic guidance, and decision support to drive business growth and profitability
- Your primary mission is to oversee and control the financial management of the company, providing accurate and timely information to optimize operational and financial performance
- Your Challenge:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of the company's financial statements, identifying trends, variations, and areas for improvement
- Interpret financial results and provide key insights for strategic decision-making
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate in the preparation of the annual budget and financial projections, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business goals
- Monitor actual performance against budget and make adjustments as necessary to achieve financial targets
- KPI Management: Develop and maintain relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the business, providing clear and meaningful metrics to assess operational and financial performance in key areas
- Profitability Analysis: Analyze the profitability of products, customers, and market segments, identifying areas of high performance and opportunities to enhance overall business profitability
- Investment Evaluation: Evaluate the financial viability of investment projects and new business initiatives, conducting return on investment (ROI) analysis and risk assessments to support informed decision-making
- Management Reporting: Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders, effectively communicating financial performance and strategic implications for the business
- Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures, as well as applicable legal and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal and external audits to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records

The global market for meat alternatives is booming; fuelled by consumers switching to vegan or vegetarian diets, as well as cutting back on meat due to its negative impact on the climate. Heura is a plant-based startup producing a wide range of meat alternatives, with products ranging from plant-based 'chicken' to non-meat 'sausages'.
Founded in 2017, Heura stands out from other meat alternative brands - such as the established Quorn and Beyond Meat - with a model based on 'Mediterranean culinary heritage'. Its products are short-labelled and highly nutritional, dodging the reputation that meat alternatives are unhealthy due to large amounts of additives, saturated fats and synthetic nutrients.
