Role
Who you are
- Minimum 8-10 years professional software development experience, at least 3 years of which is in Typescript (Node.js)
- Experienced in engineering Saas products on a cloud platform (3+ years)
- Experience with NoSQL databases a plus
- EST time zone based
- An independent, highly communicative engineer, driven by new technology to serve users needs perfectly
- Passionate about impact at scale and who gets things done
- Past leadership experience or desire to grow into a leadership position
- A problem solver at heart: motivated and with a can do attitude

What the job involves
- The Fondue team is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the Fondue Cashback product line at Postscript
- We are looking for a motivated fullstack software engineer with an interest in designing systems at scale in a microservices environment to join our growing team
- The end result will be participating in the development of what will ultimately be the most performant and feature-rich Cashback offering in the industry
- Our future Staff Fullstack Engineer will design and implement microservices in Typescript using Node.js backed by MongoDB and other NoSQL datastores in an AWS environment
- They will also implement Experience with modern SDLC including Agile methodologies is helpful, as well as a penchant for building systems that scale and are flexible enough to accommodate an ever-evolving business strategy
- This is a fully remote position that will be working across a global team

- Virtual Onsite Interviews: You’ll be meeting with 2-4 team members on a series of video calls. This is your chance to ask questions and see who this role interacts with on a daily basis
- Homework Assignment: We will send over an exercise that challenges you to solve a problem & come up with a creative solution, or outline how you've solved a problem in the past. Get a feel for what you’ll be doing on a daily basis!
- Final FEACH Interview: This is our interview to assess your ability to represent how you work via our FEACH values
- As we build the #1 team in Ecommerce, we look for individuals who embody FEACH professionally and personally. We want to hear about this in your final interview!
- Reference Checks: We ask to speak with at least two references who have previously worked with you, at least one should be someone who has previously managed your work
