Our take

Synativ was founded in 2021 by Andrew Kanapatski, an AI software engineer and Dr Tom Bruls, an autonomous vehicle engineer. With first hand experience, they started Synativ to solve the problem of limited AI data and tools.

Synativ helps generate data quickly to run computer vision models for all situations. A key problem they face is how they’ll differentiate themselves in the growing AI and automation industry. As it does, it will be interesting to see how the company grows and expands to face new problems and find new solutions.

Based in London, the early stage start-up company has big ambitions, and is supported by a pre-seed funding round. Their technology can currently be used in the autonomy, robotics, geospatial, agriculture & computer vision industries.
