Who you are

5+ years of experience in a similar position in the dairy industry
Ability to relate to dairy owners, managers, employees and associated dairy industry equipment and service businesses
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant computer applications (Microsoft Office and Net Suite or equivalent)
Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices of sales, customer service, and business
Will be required to travel 75 - 80% of the time

What the job involves

Makes sales calls to new and existing clients (both end users and distributors)
Negotiate with end users
Develop and maintain a customer database (both end users and distributors)
Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials
Develop sales proposals, prepare and present sales contracts, and maintain sales activity records and prepares sales reports
Prepare sales budgets along with controlling expenses and monitoring sales budgets
Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
Provide accurate information to company’s estimator to ensure proposals are completed accurately and on time
Attend trade meetings and industry conventions

Recent investment, led by Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board, will help fund projects to reduce carbon emissions in the commercial buildings, agriculture and transportation industries. This additional capital will accelerate expansion into new markets, notably electrified transport.
