Who you are
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is a plus
- Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Availability for a minimum of 30 hours a week for 2-3 months
What the job involves
- We are hiring a Summer Intern to join our Finance Deptartment. This is a great way to contribute as you learn the ropes in all things Accounting and Finance
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks including data entry and invoice processing
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
- Help in reconciling bank statements and ensuring accurate records
- Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting activities
- Participate in audit preparations and maintain documentation for compliance
- Engage in accounts payable and receivable functions to streamline operations
- Conduct research and analysis to support financial decision-making
- Other duties and projects as assigned
