Who you are
- You’re data-obsessed, but you know it’s great copy and ideas that bring campaigns to life
- You’re hungry to get stuck in and excited by the prospect of doing it all. All while relentlessly testing, learning and proving what works
- Strong experience in CRM strategy and execution, with a proven track record of planning and implementing successful campaigns and complex customer journeys
- Data-driven, skilled at turning numbers into meaningful insights and actions
- Confident crafting copy that supports brand storytelling
- A proactive self-starter who embraces working autonomously while keeping stakeholders bought in
- Thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Organised with strong attention to detail and relentlessly high standards
- Bonus points if already in a subscription business and/or experienced in using Customer.IO, Make and Count
What the job involves
- We’re looking for an ambitious CRM specialist to scale CRM as a key growth channel for Honest
- In this role, you’ll own CRM end-to-end: shaping strategy, executing campaigns and optimising the entire funnel
- From creating demand and converting new customers, to turning them into fans, and driving upsells and renewals, you’ll touch every part of the customer journey
- As well as our go-to CRM expert, you’ll be a core member of the broader marketing team
- Reporting into the Head of Brand and Marketing, you’ll help to shape our biggest campaigns yet, spot growth opportunities, and hit ambitious targets
- Lead CRM strategy and implementation across the customer lifecycle – from acquisition to retention, up-selling and referrals – via email, notifications, SMS and WhatsApp
- Build and scale a test-and-learn engine, relentlessly experimenting, segmenting and optimising to improve performance
- Craft compelling copy that brings your CRM ideas to life, going beyond ‘buy now’ to turn readers into customers and fans
- Monitor, analyse and report on CRM performance, gathering and analysing data to assess what’s working, what’s not, and how to increase key metrics
- Own the CRM roadmap, planning campaigns and experiments that support ambitious growth targets
- Be a proactive member of the marketing team, getting stuck into brainstorms, contributing to campaigns, and supporting wider team efforts
- Work closely with teams across the business, including founders, growth, ops, tech and product

Our take
Honest Mobile was launched in response to seeing a gap in the modern market for mobiles. Mobile networks were lagging behind, set in their old ways with complicated contracts, overcharging, and keeping customers on hold -being the norm.
To challenge this, the company built Honest Mobile from the ground up to create a better mobile network for customers and the planet. With £150k in funding, Honest Mobile has created the first carbon-neutral mobile network where customers can float between networks. And on top of this, its a registered B-Corporation and plants trees on behalf of its customers.
The mobile industry has many established players who have already spent time dealing with the challenges that Honest Mobile currently faces, like price competitiveness, WiFi functionality, and rural coverage. However, by aiming to capitalise on the consumer trend of eco-consciousness, which many of the existing companies in this space neglect, Honest Mobile aims to grow its customer base. Its performance on Seedrs, an equity crowdfunding platform for startups where it raised more than £3M in an oversubscribed campaign, shows that it is clearly gaining traction in the market.
With sustainability at the core of its mission, the company has released the UK's first recycled SIMs – made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. Honest Mobile's next step? Getting get rid of SIMs altogether!
