What the job involves
- You will be part of the content team of our editorial platform WePresent and assist in the production of our editorial content and events. WePresent presents projects across six verticals – music, photography, arts & culture, film, literature, and learning – and we tell unexpected stories about creative minds
- Your focus will be on producing these projects and articles. You’ll oversee the coordination and logistics of our merchandise, giveaways, and community as well as assist the Community & Event Manager in producing our internal and external events
- Support on the production of physical and online events
- Research how we can expand our online event offerings
- Liaising with venues, suppliers, and talent
- Liaising with WeTransfer’s design studio, social media team, and legal
- Logistics around events and internal merch & gifts
- Assisting on production of editorial content such as drafting agreements, updating the calendars and keeping track of assets
- We are looking for someone who can start in May and is available for 5-6 months
Our take
WeTransfer is a platform that allows users to send files quickly. The founders created the service with the aspiration to become the simplest way to send big files around the world.
The company differentiates itself through the fact that it's a certified B corporation. Even though WeTransfer is mainly known for its file-sharing service, the company operates a number of other services, such as Collect (tool encouraging creation and collaboration), Paper (sketching app) and Paste (collaborative presentation tool). One of the main goals of the organisation in the following period is to raise awareness of these services.
Over the coming years, WeTransfer is looking to continue its product development to ensure it remains competitive against the likes of Dropbox and Google Drive.
