Role
Who you are
- Strong work ethic – must be comfortable handling multiple projects and workstreams and taking responsibility for their work to a high standard and deadlines

- Experience in dealing with large international groups with diverse cultural/linguistic backgrounds - ideally from a large consultancy or IT Service Provider or Professional Services background
- 3+ years post qualified ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent
- Trained in practice desirable but not essential
- IFRS trained and experience of reporting accounts on an IFRS basis
- Strong fundamental accounting skills
- Ability to manage end to end preparation of statutory accounts and the audit process
- Experience of working with corporation tax compliance and VAT (or sales tax equivalents)
- Strong Excel / financial analytical skills including the ability to provide clear, meaningful commentary
- Exposure to team management or supporting junior staff
What the job involves
- Responsibility of the completion of the statutory financial statements and annual report, including managing the audit process through to sign-off of the financial statements, and group reporting obligations
- Oversight and support over month-end close activities, including balance sheet review, reviewing journals and key close processes
- Reviewing of Group reporting obligations, including completion of key reporting schedules
- Proactive management corporation tax compliance, including quarterly tax calculations, RDEC, tax payments and annual filings, supported by external tax advisors, both in UK and Ireland
- Accounting technical support to the business, particularly in relation to IFRS 15 and revenue accounting
- Supporting our Offshore back-office functions and helping to support smooth operation of their responsibilities with the wider business
- Review of VAT calculations and returns and supporting resolution of VAT issues
- Supporting various Treasury and cash management tasks, including steering the cash flow forecasting and reporting process (monthly rolling and annual budget), liquidity management and FX

In 2025, NTT Data was taken private by its parent company in order to expand its Global Data Centers division, which will enable yet more expansion in high-demand markets.
