Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering or computer science
- 3 years of experience as a product manager or 3 years of experience as a technical product manager of software products
- Requires 2 years of experience as a software engineer in software-as-a-service (SaaS) environment
- Requires 2 years of experience with: Designing and delivering new product capabilities via APIs
- Requires 2 years of experience developing telemetry platforms for business metering and analysis
- Requires 2 years of experience leading the development of a product usage telemetry pipeline
- Requires 1 year of experience defining and launching usage-based analytics applications
What the job involves
- Develop API / Automation Roadmap – Provide an informed view of short-term, midterm and long-term goals for the development of the Kiteworks Application
- Programming Interface (API). Define both the tactical and the strategic efforts required to achieve the goals
- Cross-functional collaboration – Work with key stakeholders in other areas of the business to inform the API roadmap
- Data Analysis – regularly analyze API usage data to identify opportunities for increased product adoption
- API Product Business Intelligence – Create API usage dashboards to inform the Kiteworks’ business and operations teams of opportunities and risk factors
- Lead the API Quality process – Work closely with the technical teams to define actionable work associated with improving the quality and development of the API i.e., writing detailed specification documents, increasing coverage using automated QA process for the API, planning and deprecating API versions
