Role
Who you are
- 2+ experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally with exposure to legaltech, regtech, fintech, insuretech, or enterprise software industries
- Proven ability to sell complex or technical products to non-technical stakeholders, with a track record of meetingsales targets
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a talent for simplifying complex concepts and creating value-driven sales narratives
- Strong understanding of the sales pipeline, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships effectively, with a focus on retention and growth
Desirable
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, law, or a related field
- A proactive approach, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a start-up environment
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret client needs and offer strategic, customized solutions
- An interest in legal tech and a passion for how technology is reshaping traditional business practices
What the job involves
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the document automation and legal tech space
- Engage and consult with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and goals
- Proactively identify ways to add value and present customized solutions that meet client requirements
- Conduct product demos and guide prospects through the sales cycle, addressing any technical and non-technical objections
- Use data-driven insights to refine and execute Avvoka’s sales strategy, contributing to our ambitious growth objectives
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, positioning, and product enhancements
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities
- Support onboarding and maintain regular follow-up to ensure clients maximize value from Avvoka’s platform
- Work with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth hand-offs and a seamless client experience
- Stay current on industry trends, legal technology developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Represent Avvoka at industry events, webinars, and conferences to increase brand awareness and expand the client base

Our take
Automation in writing has become a point of contention for many, but one thing that can be agreed on is that contract drafting is an arduous and time-consuming task. Traditional contract automation tools use a highly specific coding language that’s notoriously difficult to get to grips with, even if you’re well versed in it. Avvoka saves companies time with its powerful no-code editor editor, allowing any legal document (whatever complexity) to be automated in rapid time.
The aim is for the solution to be intuitive to use even by the tech-illiterate, with Avvoka’s platform already being used by leading global law firms like Allen & Overy and in-house legal teams like Warner Bros Discovery, McDonald’s. and Gymshark among others. As a profitable, organic tech company, Avvoka’s an outlier but it’s still ambitious – doubling in size by any metric during the course of 2022.
2023 is all about international growth for Avvoka (its platform can be used for any language contract), with a new office location opening in the US in the first quarter of the year and an Australian base to follow.
