Who you are

A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
3-5 or more years in a technical role with proven experience of innovation and feature delivery
Experience in working with agile methodology
Experience with cloud native technologies - AWS, GCP, Tekton, Argo, Kubernetes
Experience with building, operating, maintaining and scaling CI pipelines
Hands-on experience of Jenkins, Docker, Gradle, Groovy, Artifactory, Terraform and Ansible
Proficiency in scripting languages – Python, Ruby, Groovy, etc
Experience working with providing support to consumers of a platform service
IOS and/or Android experience – XCode, Android Studio
Superb written and verbal communication skills

What the job involves

Drive a technical roadmap, innovate and strengthen the existing CI platform
Build positive relationships both with the software engineering teams that use our pipelines and other CI organizations within Workday
Be an advocate for CI/CD and help to deliver standard methodologies within Workday
Be passionate about software engineering practices, automation, and finding opportunities to reduce toil
Be curious about the strategic direction of CI/CD within the software industry and contribute to discussions about this with other SMEs in Workday
