Vori also finds a way to use their data wisely by offering insights into market trends, so that retailers can see what customers in their area are buying.
This is an innovative approach to an industry that has seen fairly little technological progress over the years, which has caught the eye of big players in the sector such as TrueCommerce. A Series A funding round in 2022 saw Vori invest in talent acquisition, expanding its US operations, and broadening its product offerings. It has also launched "Vori Back Office", a solution designed to enable independent grocery retailers to benefit from its tech.
