Role
Who you are
- Understanding of and a good network into the CUAS system integrator ecosystem
- Organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
- Demonstrated technical acumen and the ability to articulate technical concepts
- Ability to develop a partner plan that aligns with the overall corporate strategic plan
- Experienced in owning meetings/presentations at executive levels
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- 5 years (minimum) of full-cycle, complex partner and channel sales
- 2 years of experience representing technical hardware solutions
Desirable
- Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred
- Experience with perimeter security solutions
- Experience working with defence partners/integrators
- Expertise with RF and radar technology
- Experience with UAS solutions and hardware
What the job involves
- The European Business Development Director will be responsible for developing system integrator and ecosystem partner business plans, focusing on strategic partner engagements across Europe to support sales teams in designated market segments and ensure partner success
- Find and develop strategic and emerging system integration and ecosystem partners to build, cultivate, and maintain relationships with business partners on all levels
- Identify internal and external support needed to cultivate strategic partnerships
- Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives with prospective partners and customers
- Lead the development of partner profiles, including partner needs, issues and biases
- Build mutually beneficial relationships within the system integrator ecosystem
- Conduct on-site overviews and training of the product and represent Echodyne at conferences and test sites
- Accurate forecasting of Not-For-Resale radar sales and Over-the-Horizon strategic opportunities
- Other related tasks required to fulfill the needs of the business
Our take
Echodyne builds next-generation radar systems that help make the world a safer and smarter place. By combining advanced physics (metamaterials) with clever software, they've shrunk down high-performance radar (once only found in fighter jets) into devices that can fit in your hand. These radars give drones, vehicles, and security systems better "eyes" in the sky, offering incredibly detailed situational awareness for everything from defence missions to public safety operations.

And with systems like EchoGuard and EchoShield, they offer compact, affordable radar solutions that detect and track even hard-to-spot threats, making them a key player in everything from border security to drone delivery.
Recently, they teamed up with Picogrid, integrating their radar into Picogrid's Legion platform, think of it as a kind of "mission control" for data and sensors. This means military and security teams can now access real-time radar data alongside other mission tools, all in one place. It's a huge step forward in unified defence technology, making it easier to see threats, act fast, and stay ahead of modern danger. And with drone activity and airspace challenges only growing, Echodyne is going to be vital for years to come.
