Role
Who you are
- Strong Python skills for data processing and automation, knowledge of Airflow is a plus
- Excellent SQL proficiency
- Experience working with LLMs:
- Implementation of OpenAI APIs for data automation and enrichment
- Prompt engineering for dynamic queries and natural language interfaces
- Experience with model evaluation and fine-tuning is a plus
- Proven track record in building and maintaining data lakes or similar architectures in a cloud environment
- Experience in analysing and modelling risk data sets is a plus
- Ability to lead projects with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- A valid working permit in Germany
What the job involves
- We are looking for a versatile Data Engineer & Scientist (f/d/m), who will play a key role in structuring and operationalizing our data, enabling teams to access insights and tools without relying on spreadsheets or manual workarounds
- Own, design, implement, and maintain data pipelines using Python (and Airflow)
- Explore and implement use cases with large language models (LLMs) to improve data workflows and automation
- Structure and optimize our data lake and warehouse environments
- Integrate and manage data in AWS using S3 and Lambda
- Support the migration from Google Sheets to scalable and automated data systems
- Build internal data interfaces using low-code or no-code tools, enabling non-technical users to input and retrieve data easily
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to understand data needs and co-design solutions

CEEZER is a marketplace that in short wants to support its clients to decarbonise their operations. The company offers businesses a way to integrate both carbon removal and avoidance credits in portfolios, making the complex voluntary carbon market considerably more accessible.
The company has already passed several successful funding rounds and acquired many customers including the likes of DAX30. Though the market or this type of company is fairly saturated, the calling for the companies is so large that it shouldn’t be an issue. CEEZER is investing its latest fundraise in expanding its US presence and further developing both its product and team.
