Who you are
- Dealpath is looking for a self-motivated People Operations Manager to join our growing team
- A proven ability to resolve a wide range of issues and apply judgment in complex situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to influence with data-driven insights
- A personable, professional, and proactive “get it done” attitude
- Excitement towards building scalable HR programs and implementing HR best-practices
- Experience working at high growth, fast paced companies
- A high level of integrity, discretion, and sound judgment
- 7+ years of experience in People Operations/HR, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth company
- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
- Strong knowledge of California and/or New York employment law
- Experience with BambooHR, 15Five, Culture Amp Google Apps, or similar tools
- Proficiency with data analysis
What the job involves
- The People Operations Manager will own the HR operations function, building an inclusive, scalable, best-in-class employee experience that centers efficiency, compliance, and equity
- This role offers the opportunity to directly shape how we support and scale our people as Dealpath continues its growth trajectory
- Be a key builder of the People Operations function at a scaling SaaS company
- Lead the design and execution of HR programs that directly impact employee engagement, performance, and culture
- Partner with leaders across the company to ensure our people processes support growth and compliance across CA, NY, TX, and beyond
- Have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as our People function scales
- Manage HR operations end-to-end, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across the employee lifecycle
- Administer and optimize the HRIS (BambooHR) and maintain accurate employee files and HR data reporting
- Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinating across People Ops, IT, and hiring managers
- Oversee benefits administration, annual renewals, and leaves of absence
- Run engagement surveys and administer performance review cycles
- Support employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion
- Partner with leaders to deliver training and development programs for managers and employees
- Maintain the employee handbook and ensure policies are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Manage immigration cases in partnership with outside counsel
- Track HR metrics and provide insights to leadership
- Contribute to building scalable processes and mentor junior team members
- Demonstrate commitment towards our company values and promote the day-to-day practices associated with building a stronger company culture
- Create and implement manager and employee training programs that foster learning and development across Dealpath
- Input compensation changes and partner with accounting on payroll
Our take
The PropTech market has had an up-and-down time over the last few years, with investment reaching record levels in 2021 before taking a dip the following year. The prospect of bringing a $217 trillion global industry into the 21st century is as challenging as it is appealing, due to a whole range of factors including unreliable data, as well as a complex and volatile market.
However, Dealpath is simplifying things by focusing solely on commercial real estate with its cloud-based deal management platform. Investment and development firms, as well as lenders, use the platform as a single point of reference for distributed deal information, while also getting access to real-time market data.
The success of Dealpath can be attributed to its partnership with CompStak in 2018, which provided the up-to-date data that has fueled the platform's rapid growth. This data-driven approach has earned Dealpath a strong reputation, attracting major real estate investment firms like AEW, Blackstone, and Oxford Properties. After expanding into Canada, Dealpath is now preparing for further international growth, bolstered by significant investments.
