Role
Who you are
- We are looking for a highly organized, motivated individual with dynamic interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational & time management abilities, detail oriented
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- 1-2 years general accounting experience
- Ability to multi-task, proactively solve problems, and meet time-critical deadlines
- Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
What the job involves
- This individual will be an integral part of our accounting team responsible for supporting accounts payables processes, cash receipts processing, monthly reconciliations and reporting
- Supporting accounts payable team and processes
- Process manual cheques, and wire payments
- Maintain cash and cheque logs
- Maintain compliance with internal controls
- Prepare bank deposits
- Prepare petty cash floats and reconcile expenses
- Support show accounting in compiling necessary show file documentation
- Support month-end processes as required
- Support festival accounting as required
