Who you are
- This role requires expertise in graphic and motion design, along with experience working with photography, video, and editorial
- 6+ years of experience in marketing, brand, or advertising design, with a strong portfolio showcasing motion, digital, and editorial work
- A passion for visual design and pushing brands to the next level through innovative and compelling design solutions
- Experience owning creative projects from start to finish while collaborating with junior designers
- Great taste. You have a portfolio of beautiful work and keep up to date with design trends
- Ability to quickly deliver multiple, inventive ideas that are fresh and simple while solving customer and business needs
- User-first mindset that enhances customer experience and refines Navs business objectives through thoughtful design
- Expert-level Figma skills for marketing and digital design
- Proficiency in motion graphics using After Effects, Premiere Pro, Jitter, Figma, or similar tools
- Strong photography and photo editing skills, with experience in Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar tools
- A sharp eye for composition, lighting, and brand storytelling through visual imagery
- Ability to lead projects independently and contribute within a fast-paced team
- Clear communication, organization and storytelling skills to present design decisions effectively
- Experience with 3D design or illustration is a plus!

What the job involves
- Nav is searching for a Senior Marketing Designer to drive the evolution of our brand across digital, motion, and photographic content
- You will be responsible for creating high-impact marketing assets that support growth initiatives, engage audiences, and elevate our storytelling
- You will be creating visually compelling visual experiences for print and digital campaigns, email, social media, landing pages and performance marketing campaigns
- As part of the creative team, you will collaborate closely with the marketing, content, and product teams, contributing to Nav’s mission through creative excellence
- Design compelling marketing assets for digital campaigns, email, social media, and landing pages
- Develop engaging motion graphics for product tutorials, ads, and social content
- Use Figma to create and maintain interactive and static assets within Nav’s design system
- Curate and edit photography to support marketing initiatives, ensuring consistency with Nav’s visual brand
- Enhance and retouch images for use across digital and print platforms
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, and product teams to translate strategic objectives into visual experiences
- Align with marketing to optimize assets for engagement and conversion based on performance results
- Maintain brand consistency by evolving Nav’s design system and templates

Nav gives free access to personal and business credit reports from major consumer and commercial credit bureaus including Experian, Dun & Bradstreet, Equifax and TransUnion, and hosts a robust marketplace with more than 100 business financing products including loans and credit cards.
