QA Engineer, Connexity

• The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality software
• 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Software Testing
• Experience testing web-based applications and mobile applications in a fast-paced software development environment
• Hands-on experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and regression testing
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to validate data across systems
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with web technologies, including HTTP, REST APIs, client-server architecture, and browser-based applications
• Basic experience working in Linux/Unix environments and using command-line tools
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a collaborative environment

• We have an exciting opportuity for a QA Engineer, based in Los Angeles to join our Engineering team
• This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Connexity's products, more specifically, our creator monetization platform, ShopYourLikes, through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices
• They will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to identify issues early, improve test coverage, and help deliver exceptional user experiences
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases and test suites
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications and services
• Help build, maintain, and expand automated testing frameworks and regression suites
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies to ensure quality is incorporated throughout the development lifecycle
• Analyze test results and communicate quality risks, issues, and recommendations to project stakeholders
• Support testing of APIs, backend services, and web applications
• Contribute to continuous improvements in test processes, automation, and quality standards
• Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of production issues when needed
• Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and customer expectations
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software quality assurance
