Who you are

3+ years of experience working as an engineer with cloud data architecture (AWS, GCP), preferably in an insurance domain
Data warehousing experience
Advanced SQL concepts, such as window functions
Proficient working in PythonInfrastructure-as-code experience
Experiencing working with DockerFamiliar with transformation tools such as dbt
Experience with SaaS ETL tools such as Fivetran
Workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow
Machine learning operations experience
BI visualization administration experience such as Tableau or Looker
Ability to read Ruby code is a plus
Experience working with SaaS data such as Salesforce, Hubspot, and Google Analytics is a plus
You will have a significant part in building a solid data foundation for a data-driven company

What the job involves

Beam is looking for an experienced data engineer to join our engineering team
In this role, you will be working cross-functionally with business domain experts, analytics, and engineering teams to build and maintain our data platform
Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest data from internal and external sources into our data lake
Develop and maintain our data warehouse
Build and maintain our overall data platform to support the needs of the organization
Work with teams to develop and deploy machine learning resources
