Role
Who you are
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong understanding of accounting practices and various GAAP, namely HGB and IFRS
- NetSuite experience would be a plus
- Strong proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- German language skills would be highly advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently across a business
- Numerate, detailed and methodical approach to tasks
What the job involves
- We have a new position for a driven and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join our growing finance team
- Reporting into our Head of Accounting and Tax you will play a vital role in supporting financial operations across our UK, Germany, US and Canada markets and assisting with day to day accounting tasks (with a focus on Accounts Payable)

- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Code invoices according to our general ledger chart of accounts
- Manage vendor relationships by responding to inquiries and resolving discrepancies
- Prepare and issue payments to vendors in accordance with agreed-upon terms
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable records
- Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all AP transactions
- Stay informed about relevant accounting principles and internal control procedures
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of our cloud-based ERP system (experience with NetSuite a plus)
- Work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments as needed

The idea of proactive healthcare, catching a £100k per year problem when it is a £100 problem, has been a prize that digital health companies have long sought and failed. Ada's suite of products and connections is looking to buck that trend.
