Who you are
- Vimeo is looking to bring on an experienced Sr. Sales Recruiter to join our global recruiting team
- We’re seeking someone who loves the hunt, knows how to strategically find the best and brightest B2B SaaS Sales talent and has the skills to build long-lasting relationships both internally and externally
- Full cycle GTM recruiting experience
- Proven success engaging both active and passive candidates
- Knowledge of the Enterprise B2B SaaS market in EMEA
- Experience building strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders at all levels and delivering consistent results; an active and up-to-date network
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and operate with a bias for action
- Experience creating, delivering, negotiating offers and closing candidates effectively
- Must possess strong organizational skills, be a strategic thinker and a self-starter
Desirable
- Based in London or within a reasonable commuting distance to our London office
- Prior experience as part of a global recruitment function
- Familiarity with some of our existing systems and tools such as Greenhouse ATS, Linkedin Recruiter, Lattice, UKG, Slack, G-suite
What the job involves
- As the first Recruiter in London, this person will primarily support Vimeo’s EMEA Go-To-Market Teams (Sales, Account Management, Client Success, Sales Operations, etc.) with the ability to support other hiring as needed
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for Vimeo’s London office, focused on B2B SaaS hiring across various Go-To-Market departments and levels
- Develop sourcing plans and innovative search strategies to attract top-tier talent; interview and identify qualified candidates; build and manage a robust pipeline of talent
- Partner with Hiring Managers and internal stakeholders to effectively deliver results: use a data-driven approach to advise on hiring matters and align expectations; lead kick-off / post-interview debrief meetings; communicate updates on active searches regularly
- Work with team to creatively shape and implement diversity recruitment strategies in a hyper growth environment
- Build competency-based interview plans for a variety of roles with a focus on removing bias from the process
- Manage job postings on internal and external sites
- Maintain ATS data integrity
- Managing job offers including negotiation and administration

Our take
Vimeo was founded by filmmakers who wanted an efficient way to share videos with others. It is more creator-oriented than YouTube, with professional software, technology, and tools for creators to produce, share, and sell their videos.
In 2007, it became the first online video sharing site to support HD playback for consumers, updating to 4K playback in 2016. Vimeo's app has also been updated to allow recording and live streaming as well as watching video. This service is aimed predominantly at enterprise customers although they have millions of small-time users too.
Vimeo has risen to become the world's biggest ad-free open video platform, with significant funding that has allowed it to expand operations and build up the business. Recently, however, the company has found itself struck by the effects of the economic downturn felt by much of the industry, and has been forced to reduce its workforce - a step taken to ensure it comes out of this rough time "a stronger company". On top of this, it received a hefty fine for failure to remove copyrighted content back in 2019, after losing an appeal against the initial ruling.
In 2024, Vimeo is rumoured to be in the process of acquisition by leading mobile app developer Bending Spoons, which could signify a major shift in the tech landscape.
