Who you are
- This is a results-driven position that requires a track record of success – consistently exceeding quota
- This role requires outside, field sales experience, ideally in mid-market or enterprise verticals, and includes pursuits that include multiple buyers and stages
- 3+ years experience in Industrial staffing with a focus on net-new business/logo acquisition
- A track record of success – consistently exceeding quota
- Competitive mentality with an innate desire to be at the top of the leaderboard
- Experience – You follow a sales process and methodology (Solutions selling, Challenger, or other)
- You have at least 2 years of experience in lead generation/prospecting net new business via door to door prospecting, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas through face-to-face client interactions
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Salesloft, and Zoominfo
- Preferred but not required: You have successfully sold into the light industrial industry
What the job involves
- We have an immediate opening for a hybrid Senior ‘Field Sales’ Account Executive with a proven track record of success to join our rapidly growing team
- Reporting to a Sales Manager, this role serves as a critical sales team member
- It is responsible for establishing a collaborative business relationship between Instawork and mid-enterprise light industrial organizations
- Establish a collaborative business relationship between Instawork and prospective clients
- Executing the sales strategy for our B2B mobile marketplace app by reaching out to executives and key decision makers across multiple verticals
- Utilize a consulting sales process to demonstrate how Instawork is a faster and cost-effective solution compared to competitors
- Ensure a top-notch first experience with Instawork and obsess over expanding the account in the first months as a customer
- Strategically work an assigned account list focusing on net new client acquisition, closing new business over the phone and in-person by delivering tailored sales presentations
- Conduct field prospecting activities, including visiting potential clients’ businesses, attending industry events, and networking to uncover new sales opportunities
- Provide accurate weekly forecasts and sales plans
- Work collaboratively with the sales and operations teams to drive revenue growth with new customers
- Provide actionable product feedback to our supporting teams and the VP of Sales to help iterate our value offering
- Utilize our tools and maintain a healthy Salesforce pipeline
- Manage your time effectively between office work and field activities to maximize sales opportunities
- Demonstrate products or services through in-person presentations and demonstrations at client sites

Instawork hosts an online marketplace that connects gig workers with local businesses across a variety of sectors including healthcare, hospitality, and warehouse work. Workers are paid hourly upon completion of a gig, at which point both the employer and worker themselves can provide feedback on the experience.
Whilst the startup faces competition within this gig-work industry, Instawork holds a smart focus on providing reliable and short-notice workers for businesses that need them. Gigs can be arranged within just a few hours of notice, and any employer or employee who cancels a job will be temporarily suspended in order to improve job success rates. Instawork's 2023 Series D funding is accelerating its AI capabilities and expanding its presence within staff distribution centres for some of the American continent's largest retailers and sports stadiums.
