Accounting and Finance Operations Associate, n8n

• 2 to 4 years of experience in an accounting-focused finance operations role at a fast-growing tech company
• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Controlling, and Accounting, or commercial training as a Financial Accountant or Tax Clerk
• Strong knowledge of German accounting (HGB) and tax laws
• Experience working with DATEV tools and expense management tools like Moss & Google Sheets
• Fluent in both German and English

Desirable

• Organize and carry out bookkeeping tasks for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting
• Work closely with the external tax office to ensure monthly closings are accurate and on time, or handle this on your own without external help
• Coordinate, prepare, and review annual financial statements with the external tax office
• Prepare and send out customer invoices
• Check payment status and manage the dunning process for overdue payments
• Review and approve employee expense reimbursement requests
• Work with the external payroll provider and People Ops to prepare and check payroll
• Prepare the weekly payment run
• Help set up and improve processes, such as supporting international expansion from an accounting perspective, automating accounting and operations, and creating finance process documentation
