Several years experience as a professional software engineer
Experience of frontend frameworks like Ember, Svelte, Angular or React. We use Ember, so you need to be motivated by learning Ember if experience is with other technologies
Collaborative in your approach to building feature-rich user experiences
A curious person, who enjoys digging deep into requirements and handling complexity
Experienced or interested in finance and a public cloud environment is a plus!

We're seeking a Senior Front End Software Engineer for our Transaction Experience team in Edinburgh. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and evolving critical services that power our financial data ecosystem, while helping to modernize our architecture
Our team is focused on building outstanding user experiences, powerful APIs, and sophisticated analysis tools for our global customer base of Financial Advisors and Wealth Managers
You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our platform by implementing robust solutions that scale across multiple regions, enhance user experiences, and establish processes for maintaining core functionality for our platform at scale
Partner with designers and product owners to design and deliver significant features on our platform
Be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team
Help your team develop pragmatic solutions to sophisticated problems
Advocate for standard methodologies and process improvements
Mentor and set the bar for an impactful team working in the core of Addepar

Investment advisers require speed, clarity and flexibility when managing client portfolios. Addepar is a wealth management software platform created with these requirements in mind. The platform aggregates portfolio, market, and client data in one place, allowing financial professionals to analyse and visualise the data they need.

Addepar currently tracks around $6 trillion of assets serving over 800 clients, including individual advisers, family offices, and large institutions such as AllianceBernstein, Bartlett Wealth Management, and Morgan Stanley.

The multi-unicorn company has been pursuing global expansion, opening its first office outside of the United States in Scotland in 2021 and a new London office in late 2022. It appointed new leadership members from companies like Oracle and Amazon Web Services. A Series G investment in 2025 will further accelerate its momentum as it continues to innovate its suite of solutions.
