Product Manager, Niantic Labs

• 3+ years of product management or relevant experience
• Experience writing requirements, roadmaps, and managing stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to successfully engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with large datasets and implementing data pipelines
• Experience delivering large-scale machine learning products or services with a geospatial component
• Experience working with computer vision or mapping applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice
• Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others

• You will partner with engineers, data scientists, game producers, and operators to develop and scale products used by millions of people around the world
• You will be responsible for crafting the vision and strategy for how Niantic creates, processes, conflates, and serves the geodata that underpin our real-world AR platform

• Build a deep understanding of the development processes for creating and interacting with AR content tied to real-world locations
• Work alongside engineers, data scientists, game producers, and operators to gather insights and refine Niantic’s geospatial product line
• Define product requirements for geospatial tools, applications, and data assets used by developers, operators, and players
• Broadcast your vision through product roadmaps, rapidly iterate with stakeholder feedback, and deliver solutions that scale to millions of users
• Define and track metrics to measure product success and impact
• Collaborate and drive alignment with product leaders, engineers, and scientists to build and deploy solutions for the next generation of mapping
