Who you are
- 2+ years previous experience in people operations working with HRIS/HR tools (experience with remote/hybrid organizations and tech start-ups is a plus)
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Rippling is a plus
- SHRM or PHR certification is a plus
- Foundational knowledge of HR-related employment laws
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency with mergers and acquisitions is a plus
What the job involves
- As a People Operations Generalist, you will be an integral part of the People team and will manage various aspects of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and play a key role in delivering a world-class employee experience
- You’ll be responsible for making sure our processes and systems support our growing needs, ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data and HR systems and serve as a key point of contact for employee operational questions and/or concerns
- Be a friendly and responsive first point of contact for employee questions on HR processes, policies, and benefits
- Own the logistics of onboarding and offboarding, including I-9 completion, systems access, and exit checklists
- Maintain accurate employee data in our HRIS (we use Rippling) and support reporting and audits
- Help coordinate performance reviews, compensation updates, and other cyclical people program
- Assist with payroll reviews and benefits administration in partnership with Finance
- Contribute to drafting and updating policies and employee communications
- Take responsibility for workplace operations—coordinating vendors, supporting office logistics, and helping shape a great in-office experience
- Support hiring and managing workplace support staff as needs evolve
