Who you are
- 4+ years in business operations or other key functions including business process improvement, and product or engineering teams (bonus points for both)
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to lead team initiatives by influence
- Experience effectively communicating across multiple levels including distributed teams
- Focus on results and outcome, not just process for process sake
- Strong action bias, preference for execution and incremental improvements
- Ability to document and train a variety of stakeholders on new and revised processes

What the job involves
- The Executive Planning & Operations team solves critical strategy, planning, and execution challenges across Fastly
- We are looking for a curious and proactive Operations Analyst to partner with leadership in Engineering, Product Management, Analytics, Finance, Program Management, Product & Engineering Operations, and others to develop and manage engineering, financial, and technical processes, execute key operational cadences, and drive successful business outcomes
- Manage and mature multiple key cross-organizational processes including Product Lifecycle, Engineering Ops, software capitalization, and others
- Operationalize emerging processes around FinOps and cloud spend management
- Instill discipline and consistency within the Product and Engineering teams in terms of operational methodologies and documentation, working with Senior Director & VP level resources
- Work closely with cross-functional resources as primary point of contact to improve communications, enhance visibility, and measure results of different strategic portfolios
- Champion tooling and process improvements that help the team and Fastly scale
