Who you are
- We are looking for an Android Engineer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits
- You're a passionate and self-motivated developer
- You've built an Android application that's on the Google Play Store
- Strong working knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDKs
- You are committed to writing high quality, testable code
- You love collaborating as an Agile team
- Solid understanding of the mobile development lifecycle

What the job involves
- This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications
- You'll be working with one of the fastest-growing fintechs, helping us define how we use mobile to drive our business and help make saving effortless for millions. You'll share your passion and experience with those around you, allowing and encouraging your less experienced teammates to step up to the challenges
- Responsible for building small to medium-sized new features inside the app
- Comfortable working with the mobile automation pipelines, and managing the mobile release process
- Uses appropriate algorithms, data structures and design patterns to solve problems
- Breaks down large problems into smaller iterative steps across multiple PRs
- Appropriately handles errors or failure conditions in their code
- Works with back end developers to design and agree on API contracts
- Comfortable doing discovery and spiking for new features
- Actively participate in refinement of upcoming dev work
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Start your weekend early!)
