Role
Who you are
- 2-4 years professional experience in branding, web and mobile a huge plus, with digital-first portfolios
- A well-developed and sophisticated visual style
- A strong portfolio with examples of brand storytelling
- Excellent typography skills
- Ability to generate original concepts and ideas that are on-brand
- Interest in working on marketing initiatives that tell a cohesive brand design story
- A positive and collaborative work ethic
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Fluency in Figma
- Fluency or working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
What the job involves
- Work with the Design Director, Brand team designers, and marketing team (copywriter, marketers, and technologists) to concept new and creative ways to engage and communicate with our users
- Come up with creative and on-brand design solutions, particularly by explaining our innovative digital product through beautiful animations and supporting graphics
- Design digital materials that are unique, clear in their messages, and that reinforce the brand as a leader in design. Examples of deliverables that often group together as holistic campaigns: creative concepting and design exploration on everything from email layouts to in-house photo shoots, original creative for blog editorial content, collateral and assets for press and partner launches, and realizing the potential of our marketing creative (email, social, campaigns, etc.)
- Contribute to all phases of creative production – from concept to execution – for multi-channel brand campaigns

Paperless Post first launched in 2009, and since then it has become a clear market leader in a field cluttered with fairly simple design and printing tools. Part of its success stems from its early adoption of mobile phones as a platform - while initially optimized for desktop use the company worked hard to develop its platform for mobile users.
This has allowed Paperless Post to consolidate its growth in spite of market changes over the years. It will need to continue to develop its partnerships and technology in order to fend off new competitors, but its unique designs and understanding of communication trends indicate that the company is still ahead of the curve.
