- As a fullstack engineer, you're passionate about building high-quality scalable applications end-to-end
- Most likely you have stronger engineering background in either frontend or backend
- Yet you can still be productive in both while possessing expertise in one or more common server-side programming languages (such as Java, Golang, Python, C#, JavaScript/Node, etc)
- On the frontend side, you are capable of developing web applications in TypeScript (or JavaScript) and dealing with HTML/CSS
- You have worked with at least one of the popular frontend frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js), and build tools (like grunt, gulp, bower, npm, or webpack)
- And when it comes to the backend, you have prior experience in building data-intensive applications and working knowledge of database modeling and design
- You feel comfortable when dealing with message queues, streams, caching layers, and REST APIs, as well as likely have some experience integrating with external APIs too
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a keen interest in the development of modern web platforms, as well as the ambition for personal growth and innovation
- As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll be taking a lead on some of the most important and core parts of our platform
- Client-side: TypeScript / React / SCSS
- Server-side: TypeScript / NodeJS / AWS Lambda (Serverless) / DynamoDB / Snowflake
Our take
Amsterdam-based Onramper is a fiat-to-crypto gateway aggregator, providing a hub for fiat gateways and app developers supporting all currencies and payment methods to access cryptocurrency and related Web 3.0 services.
Whilst many companies have solved this problem, they have done so in a host of different geographies. Onramper, however, aggregates them all into a single tool, making the process of companies offering crypto purchasing much simpler.
Funds raised by Onramper, led by EQT Ventures, will enable it to accelerate its product roadmap whilst scaling the team and expanding its operations and industry presence.
