Role
Who you are
- You have 7+ years of experience managing paid UA campaigns for a mobile B2C application
- You are passionate, constantly curious, and a proactive marketeer
- Testing and experimenting to discover new areas of growth, and seeking improvements in the way things are done are in your DNA
- You have strong data analysis experience and can articulate your findings with the team, and also with technical and creative stakeholders
- You have a deep understanding and proven competencies in various marketing channels and experience around expansion into supplemental channels to fuel growth
- You are a confident user of Excel, Google Sheets and Dashboard tools
- You are experienced with Adjust or any similar MMP tool
- You are experienced with working in a fast-paced environment and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty
What the job involves
- Grow Galatea’s target audiences through paid media channels
- Plan, execute, analyze, and optimize user acquisition campaigns across performance UA channels
- Own the strategy for your channels, demonstrating expertise in managing large budgets and media planning
- Focus on new channel expansion such as but not limited to tiktok, pinterest, influencer marketing, CTV, and podcast
- Monitor and communicate critical performance indicators through regular, insightful reporting
- Establish and maintain robust data infrastructure and dashboards setup with Business Intelligence, ensuring a comprehensive understanding and utilization of the full conversion funnel for ongoing optimizations
- Assess and refine tracking and attribution systems to enhance reporting accuracy and reliability
- As part of your role, you will be a trusted and professional advisor to all relevant stakeholders (i.e. for Product, Data, Engineering, Content)
- Keep up with industry trends and new UA opportunities beyond existing channels
Our take
The current publishing industry makes it very difficult for breakout authors to achieve success. Furthermore, publications are often based off subjective opinions of those in the industry, and potential readers have no input in the matter, despite them being the force that will drive a book's success.
Inkitt takes a different approach to publishing in order to give writers a fairer chance of success. The company allows writers to submit their stories onto the website where readers have free access to read anything posted. Using an algorithm, Inkitt then determines which stories have the most reader engagement, and based on this information, decides which to take to official print and publication.
7 rounds of funding to the sum of more than $100 million have allowed Inkitt to invest more in its algorithm and technology and open offices in San Francisco. It's also looking to expand into more mediums such as video content and audiobooks, with a long-term aim of building a media empire akin to Disney. Though there's a long way to go for that lofty aim to come to fruition, Inkitt has already attracted 33 million users and published dozens of bestsellers.
