Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone who loves turning ideas into reality, working behind the scenes to ensure every detail is accounted for, every shipment arrives on time, and every activation delivers a standout experience for fans, families, and partners
- 5+ years of experience in experiential marketing, field marketing, or event operations, with a track record of planning and executing brand activations from start to finish
- Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets, timelines, logistics, and cross-functional coordination
- Proficient in tools like Looker, Hubspot, or similar platforms to manage workflows, track performance, and report on event KPIs
- You bring an operational mindset to your work—anticipating needs, streamlining execution, and keeping event logistics running smoothly
- Managed vendor and agency relationships across multiple events, ensuring clear expectations, accountability, and consistent, high-quality execution
- Bring creative ideas to life through engaging activations, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver meaningful experiences
- A clear and confident communicator with experience representing a brand externally; comfortable working with teams like Marketing, Brand, Business Development, and Creative to align on expectations and ensure seamless execution
What the job involves
- GameChanger is seeking a Senior Experiential Marketing Specialist to help bring our youth sports mission to life through seamless event execution, fulfillment, and partner support
- You'll take the lead on coordinating immersive brand experiences at tournaments, showcases, and marketing activations across the country
- You'll collaborate closely with our Brand, Partnerships, and Creative teams, serving as the operational engine behind our most impactful in-person moments
- This is a remote position that reports to our Events Operations Manager and includes occasional travel to support key marketing events
- Own the logistics, fulfillment, and execution of GameChanger's in-person events and brand activations
- Coordinate event timelines, shipments, branded materials, signage, and inventory to support a national event calendar
- Partner with teams like Marketing, Brand, Business Development, and Creative to execute co-branded events with high-profile partners
- Maintain clear and updated event documentation, checklists, and planning processes to ensure repeatable, high-quality execution
- Manage vendors and agencies by setting clear expectations, tracking deliverables, and ensuring high standards are met
- Track and report on timelines, budgets, and key performance metrics using tools like Looker, Salesforce, or Airtable
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and bring fresh operational ideas to how we plan, prep, and activate across multiple sports and customer types (B2C and B2B)
- Support travel and on-site logistics, including occasional weekend event work, to ensure smooth execution in the field
- Evaluate and prioritize activation opportunities based on impact, ROI, and alignment with brand goals
Our take
The competitive nature of sports has always been driven by scorekeeping, and nowadays results are often consumed online. However, for smaller teams it can be difficult to provide this information digitally, as they do not have dedicated web development staff.
GameChanger provides a scorekeeping and statistics platform for sports teams to engage with their fans, that allows viewers to track the progress of a game in real-time similar to with professional sports. The company also embeds a live-streaming service into the platform to facilitate remote viewing, helping to increase audience engagement.
Whilst some sports teams already stream events on platforms such as Twitch and Youtube, most do not have the technical resources to achieve this. GameChanger has recognized this gap in the market, providing a simple yet unified platform for sports scoreboards and streaming, providing a fair opportunity for any team to maximize their community engagement.
