Role
Who you are
- 6+ years of experience
- A portfolio showcasing strong design skills and well-crafted user experiences
- Experience designing for B2B and/or fintech products
- Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system
- Experience working in complex and ambiguous problem spaces
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in startup environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and analytical skills
- Strong low- and high-fidelity prototyping skills
- Experience conducting user research is a plus

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Fortune 500 clients to design workflows and interactions that set new industry standards

- Design user experiences for our core products, from planning to launch
- Work closely with the Principal Designer, Product, and Engineering leads to turn company goals into prioritized projects and find the right problems to solve
- Pay close attention to design details, make complex tasks easy to use, and connect related projects effectively
- Collaborate with the design team to develop our long-term product vision, design systems, and internal processes
- Participate in team rituals such as design crits, brainstorming, and weekly stand-ups

As its AI solution is also more accurate than manual finance processes, it greatly reduces human error which can lead to duplicate spend or overlooking instances of fraud.
Boasting an 80% reduction in processing times and a 5% reduction in total spend, AppZen has swiftly established itself as a leader in AI finance software. It is used by over a thousand finance teams in enterprises such as Amazon, Nvidia, and Salesforce.
AppZen faces a large number of competitors in the finance automation space, with startups such as Expensify and Spendesk operating in the sector along with industry stalwarts such as SAP developing their own solutions. However, Appzen has carved out a strong early lead and has a large and rapidly growing client base. As it continues to develop its product it seems likely to maintain its market-leading position.
