What the job involves
- The next step in evolving our shopper journey will be bringing on a Graphic Designer who will create smart, memorable content to move Fetch’s brand forward and to keep our app users informed, entertained and engaged
- Design quick-turn content for a range of communications, including emails, mobile inbox messages, in-app carousels and much more
- Rapidly develop elite content that is reflective of a world class app, with the guidance of creative leadership
- Work within Fetch’s visual identity, while identifying opportunities to push its boundaries
- Take on other design-related projects when time allows
- Take messaging and imagery provided by brand partners to create single deliverables or blow out creative campaigns
- Utilize templates and Fetch’s brand style guide to speed up design work,
- Implement and iterate upon new templates to adapt to Fetch & brand partners’ needs
- Concept, design, iterate, and revise pixel-perfect(ish) projects based on provided briefs and feedback
- Seek out opportunities for design elevation throughout Fetch’s portfolio of creative work
- Extremely strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate dedication to diversity, inclusion, and representation
- Keep on top of trends in content, storytelling, and best practices for design
- Provide opinions and points-of-view about the best approach to each project
- Work closely with Fetch’s creative, marketing and sales teams
- Collaborate directly with creative team peers - writers, illustrators, motion designers, other designers, creative leadership, production artists & project managers
- Support design & illustration leadership, & their initiatives
Our take
Leading mobile shopping and loyalty platform Fetch has seen explosive success in recent years. Its concept is simple: users receive spendable points in exchange for scans of their shopping receipts.
The app has tens of millions of daily active users with even more downloads, and has seen impressive growth, having now reached 'unicorn' status twice over. This should come as no surprise. Brand reinforcement is crucial to customer retention and acquisition - but it is harder than ever, with the fragmentation of choice on the market and the declining efficacy of marketing. So material loyalty benefits are likely to prove a crucial tool in creating and leveraging a strong customer base.
Whilst Fetch faces competition from similar receipt-scan rewards platforms like ReceiptPal and Ibotta, it grew into a profitable company in late 2023. And its using its most recent Morgan Stanley-backed funding to aggressively add brand partners at a competitive pace and onboard staff at a level that promises strong continued growth.
