Who you are

Key languages required : JavaScript/Typescript/React
Hands-on experience of agile software development practices and methodologies, automated testing and CI/CD build and deployment processes
A track record of building enterprise solutions for complex business problems
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and a desire to work as part of a global team
Passionate about using software to solve complex business problems
React/Typescript, Redux, RxJS, Hooks, SASS/CSS and Jest for unit testing
Ideally someone familiar with high performance/real time user interfaces and someone who is obsessed with high quality/enterprise React code
Familiar with the gitflow style teamworking model (sprints, scrum, Jira, peer-to-peer code reviews) and have experience working in a team-based software development
Knowledge of SignalR or GraphQL or derivatives would also be a bonus but not essential.”

What the job involves

The candidate would work with a team to build on, interpret and deliver on the functional requirements of key internal stakeholders and clients to deliver on a retail trading and broking front end
This is phase two of a five-year plan to build a sophisticated in house dealing desk offering talking to multiple venues, third party brokers and end points
Working within an agile framework the candidate would work closely with the customer and the internal team to build, test and deliver a customisable front end for a trading desk and brokerage
The React Developer role is a key role within this team and will integrate within the wider X-change software development team to provide hands on development, design and expertise in the following areas:
Development of a market leading react based trading front end for equities and derivatives execution
Working closely with product to deliver on requirements for front end
Develop a market leading react interface to support a Brokerage OEMS
