Principal Product Manager, Kalepa

• You have 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ in a senior or principal-level role
• You excel at leading cross-functional teams and influencing executive stakeholders (both internal and external), including architectural decisions with engineering counterparts
• Hustle mindset - you remove obstacles, take initiative, and find ways to get things done
• You love being the voice of the customer. You understand their problems and needs in detail and always look for better ways to address them
• You can independently set the strategy for, define, and ship complex, high-impact software products at scale, including for strategic integrations
• You value open, frank, and respectful communication
• You are data-driven, adept at combining quantitative and qualitative insights to bring clarity, prioritization, and alignment in ambiguous environments
• You leverage AI tools both for your own productivity and as part of product innovation, finding ways to make users’ lives better through intelligent features
• Enterprise SaaS or FinTech experience

• Kalepa is looking for a technically-focused Principal Product Manager with 7+ years of experience to be a leader within our Product team
• We are a VC-backed, remote-friendly startup delivering software to transform and disrupt commercial insurance. Our HQ is located in New York City
• You will be expected to set strategy and drive execution for major product areas of Kalepa’s core underwriting product: working closely with engineers, designers, and other technical resources to deliver on Kalepa’s product vision and unlock value for users
• You will focus on adding oversight and rigor to our product and engineering processes, as well as driving forward strategic enterprise integrations
• You will be expected to define and own the long-term roadmap, mentor other product managers, and contribute to Kalepa’s culture and commercial success
