The company has built an API platform that lets consumers compare insurance policies side-by-side, simplifying a once tricky ordeal. Setting itself apart from competitors, Trellis also partners with digital banks and financial institutions to offer new insurance options to their existing customers.
Due to its innovative approach to the space, Trellis has seen exponential growth since its inception in 2019 and more recently acquired the backing of Amex Ventures. Securing funding from Amex along with a number of other investors, Trellis is now in a prime position to accelerate its offerings and further innovate the insurance market.
