Who you are
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a quantitative or scientific field
- 7+ years of work experience in an analytics-focused role with experience including dashboard development, digital marketing analysis, multi-touch attribution, and predictive analytics
- Experience with analytics tools such as PowerBI; SQL; Python, R, or other statistical languages; Google Analytics
- Experience with data preparation, rationalization, and processing
- Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, demands and timelines
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project planning/strategizing skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work cross functionally at all levels of a matrix environment
What the job involves
- The Marketing Analytics Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the Marketing analytics function within Plume
- This is a key role within the team and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing insights and recommendations that help to guide Marketing strategy and decision making
- In addition the successful candidate will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on Marketing activity and return on investment
- Provide strategic thought-leadership and deliver analytical outputs
- Develop analytical approaches to strategic business decisions by using experience and curiosity
- Deeply understand customer behavior and needs in order to make recommendations
- Manage the regional customer advisory boards (CAB) and ensure that they are productive and help to add value to Plume’s roadmap
- Implement and interpret regular customer surveys including NPS
- Develop and continually improve multi-source data architecture and analytics procedures, systems, workflows, definitions, and data governance
- Lead the development of reporting and data visualizations to track full marketing funnel and demand tracking
- Ensure data quality and correct discrepancies within analytic solutions
- Work with 3rd party vendors including those for lead management, identity resolution and 1st party data sharing to improve marketing efficiency and develop best practices
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices and any relevant certifications
- Educate business users on analytic solutions to gain efficiencies in day-to-day operations
Our take
Smart devices within the home have become the norm, but Plume Design believes that this influx of revolutionary home tech is only as smart as the networks that support them. With many issues concerning smart devices, treatment is reliant on generic WiFi, unsafe networks, and expensive analysis. Plume Design remedies this with cloud-controlled internet platforms that are defined by the needs of the devices that use them.
With home office setups now the norm, Plume has fast become a necessary service for many small businesses and casual users. Its smart Wi-Fi networks are ground-level products upon which Plume offers more smart home services and it now has more than a billion devices on its network.
With substantial funding behind it, Plume’s post-COVID surge in business was one thing, but keeping up the momentum throughout the 2020s is quite another. Time will tell if the company can continue on its upward trajectory. But as long as it keeps its networks fresh (as it did in 2022 through its partnership with opensync software agent SamKnows), it shouldn’t have a problem as it scales up.
