Who you are
- Minimum 10 years of B2B SaaS product management experience with 5 years leading a team of product managers
- Embody an entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrating a passion for innovation and the ability to anticipate and shape industry trends
- Proven track record of crafting a coherent product vision, multi-year strategy and quarterly roadmap that the product team and the entire company gets behind
- Strong analytical and decision making skills with a knack for combining qualitative and quantitative data
- Data-savvy - you find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story. You know how to use this data to make decisions without getting bogged down in analysis paralysis
- Strong ability to crystalize complex concepts into actionable, strategic plans
- Consistent track record dealing with complex projects and meeting conflicting prioritization and resourcing demands
- Technically proficient - you have collaborated with engineers in developing the technical architecture of the products you have built
- World class communication with experience using it to influence C-level executives and key stakeholders
What the job involves
- Work closely with cross functional leaders to develop and execute Freshpaint’s product roadmap
- Build and manage a high performing and operationally excellent product team that relentlessly delivers on our roadmap
- Partner with engineering to prioritize product and features on our roadmap, striking a balance between innovation and business goal achievement
- Embed with Freshpaint’s go to market teams to deeply understand our customer goals and deliver solutions that help them achieve them
- Constantly talk to customers, prospects and thought leaders in our market to gain an informed view of what we should build and when
- Consistently do discovery to find ways to expand our TAM by delivering product that creates a stronger land wedge and opens up new verticals
- Look for product opportunities that help us expand the revenue within our existing customer base to achieve 120% NRR
Our take
Accurate and compliant customer data is key to enabling companies to market themselves more effectively. However, acquiring and activating this data can prove very difficult and expensive for organizations without a dedicated engineering team.
Y-Combinator-backed Freshpaint is on a mission to change this with its data platform, which allows users to connect and standardize customer data, create behavioral datasets, and activate these in their own marketing and analytics tools – all without a single line of code.
Founded in 2019, Freshpaint has been quick to attract a number of high-profile customers including Monster.com, Bitrise, and Modern Health. Now well-funded thanks to investment from Intel Capital, the company is gearing up for a period of fast growth.
