- Linux & Kubernetes expertise – You are very familiar with open-source cloud and container technologies ( Kubernetes , SUSE Rancher, OpenShift, EKS, AKS) and know how to use them. ✔ Automation whiz – Terraform /OpenTofu, Ansible , or GitLab CI/CD are not foreign concepts to you – you use them to make systems efficient and scalable. ✔ Bug finder & problem solver – You see bugs as challenges, analyze complex problems, and find clever solutions. ✔ Communication pro – You can clearly articulate your ideas, communicate effectively with developers, customers, and colleagues, and share your knowledge. ✔ Initiative & curiosity – You want to actively change the IT world, contribute new ideas , and are always up-to-date with the latest technology . ✔ Language skills – German & English at least at C2 level, as you will be working with international teams and clients
What the job involves
- Your vision: We are looking for a motivated and independent System Engineer to support our growing German team
- You will play a key role in the development and implementation of cluster solutions, container platforms, automation tools, security measures, and CI/CD solutions for our customers

- ✔ Kubernetes Mastermind – Deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Kubernetes clusters on-premises or in the cloud. ✔ Troubleshooting Genius – Debugging, error analysis, and technical support at the highest level. ✔ DevOps Pioneer – Supporting development teams in the implementation of cloud-native applications. ✔ Automation Guru – Automation, scaling, and optimization with Terraform , Ansible , GitLab, and other tools . ✔ Security & Compliance – Keeping a constant eye on the security of infrastructure and pipelines. ✔ Customer Friend – Direct collaboration with our customers to develop innovative solutions

Founded in 2000, Adfinis has been an active player in the open-source ecosystem for more than two decades. The company works with both public and private sector clients across a broad spectrum of IT projects, from data protection to cyber security.
Open-source software is exploding in popularity at enterprise level, due mainly to its speed of deployment, and this has brought with it an increased demand for expertise. Since so many companies are unable to hire open source talent internally, Adfinis is in a strong position to capitalise – especially given its long history in the sector.
Adfinis began an international expansion in 2020 – timed quite perfectly as demand for open source services escalated. Since then, the company has made several key appointments at executive level as it looks to continue its upward trajectory, claiming industry accolades long the way.
