Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Structured Credit, or related strategic finance roles
- Prior leadership experience as CFO or Head of Finance at a high-growth tech startup
- Deep expertise in capital markets, liquidity planning, financial controls, and corporate finance
- Proven success in fundraising and managing investor relationships
- Exceptional modeling, structuring, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build processes and teams from the ground up
- BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred
- Experience with fintech, SaaS, or payments businesses is a plus

- We’re looking for a strategic and forward thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team and help lead Constrafor through its next chapter of growth and innovation

- As a key thought partner to the CEO, you’ll drive critical initiatives across finance, fundraising, and business operations
- From capital markets strategy and liquidity planning to financial systems, forecasting, and operational scalability, your leadership will be central to enabling smart, sustainable, and data-driven growth
- Optimize profitability, cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation decisions
- Lead execution of capital markets initiatives (equity and credit), including structuring, due diligence, modeling, and investor engagement
- Oversee financial operations including accounting, FP&A, tax, compliance, and treasury
- Develop scalable financial systems, internal controls, and KPIs to support growth and operations
- Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to execute our vision
- Develop and manage relationships with capital providers across credit and equity markets
- Understand and articulate Constrafor’s credit profile and asset performance drivers to investors and external stakeholders
- Own and evolve the company’s liquidity strategy, ensuring optimal capital structure and risk-adjusted growth
- Support investor relations efforts through transparent financial reporting and strategic communications
- Develop and lead a high performing Finance & Operations team
Our take
Large construction projects take a long time to finish, and subcontractors can get caught up in the flow of money, waiting up to 80 days to be paid by general contractors. Such situations not only lead to project delays but also impose the burden of financing their project segments onto subcontractors. However, Constrafor has set out to change this through its SaaS construction procurement platform.
It streamlines information and documentation for how general contractors work with subcontractors and assumes the risk for the subcontractor invoice, freeing up cash flow. The general contractor then reimburses Constrafor for the invoice; its revenue is based on taking in about 2% of the value of the invoice.
Given that construction companies typically allocate less than 1.5% of their revenue to technology investments, Constrafor find itself in substantial demand, It stands out by offering tailored solutions, designed and developed on behalf of these companies. Bolstered by recent funding, secured through a SAFE note, Constrafor is poised to elevate its operations, effectively facilitating crucial functions like payroll management and other pivotal aspects of the construction process.
