Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management or similar roles within financial services teams, with specific experience in lending and loan servicing operations. Auto lending experience is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of banking integration and payment processing including ACH, NACHA processing, and various payment channels, with experience maintaining and introducing new payment methods
- Experience with financial compliance frameworks (TILA, Reg B, UDAAP, CFPB regulations, SCRA adjustments) and understanding of regulatory requirements for loan servicing
- Strong project management skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage projects of varying sizes and scopes
- Experience in designing and delivering product integrations, including working with APIs
- Passion for product development, data science, and the intersection of software and finance, with additional experience in financial markets or the automotive industry being a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functional groups with adaptability and empathy
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or other agile software development methodologies
- Proven ability to scope and author comprehensive business and technical product requirements
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex work streams simultaneously, ensuring efficient and effective project execution

- As a Product Manager for Payments, you'll be at the core of our loan servicing operations, building the critical systems that power every aspect of the lending lifecycle

- Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand the problems and develop insights, and translate those findings into new product innovations
- Partner closely with engineering to drive the creation, planning, prototyping, and development of products and features in support of key product metrics and goals
- Foster strong relationships with subject matter experts, analysts, data scientists, and technology teams across Lendbuzz
- Own, prioritize and maintain the product backlog
- Analyze and articulate insights from data to inform product roadmap decisions and drive alignment across functions and senior leadership
- Break down features into detailed stories and acceptance criteria that can be executed by an agile team. Find ways to deliver value incrementally
- Effectively communicate to a wide business audience project status and post-launch measurement of progress
- Collaborate closely with the Finance and Accounting teams on daily and month-end reporting, reconciliation processes, and ensuring accuracy across complex financial data models is a plus

On a mission to help individuals currently underserved by the traditional credit system, Lendbuzz is an automobile finance platform that uses machine learning and AI to help consumers with little to no credit history access financing when buying a car.
Research found that nearly two thirds of consumers want to improve their credit scores, likely because it’s deemed the only way to access loans and credit cards. Whilst banks and traditional lenders assess credit based on FICO scores, Lendbuzz finds new signals and other relevant data to assess a person’s credit worthiness.
$100 million in lending capital from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group is fuelling more warehouse capacity for Lendbuzz's loan origination growth. It has secured its substantial investment thanks to a prolonged period of high performance, having established a year-on-year loan originations growth of more than 100% per annum.
