Who you are
- Merge is looking for a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about shaping the future of integrations and fluent in product manager needs
- 5+ years of experience in technical product marketing
- A software engineering background or experience in product management or solution engineering is a plus
- Technical proficiency in API integrations and developer tooling for B2B SaaS companies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present in front of executives, vendors, partners, and customers
- Expertise in building product demos end-to-end, from building compelling narratives that accurately position our products and align to our platform messaging, to owning the technical execution in demo videos
- Hands-on experience building a range of marketing assets, including compelling positioning and messaging, succinct technical pitch-decks, demo videos, and event/webinar content
- Outstanding organizational skills to define and balance multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively within a dynamic environment
What the job involves
- This person will be tasked with connecting with the product management community and effectively communicating the technical value of Merge’s solutions to prospects, customers, and partners
- Be the product manager expert. Immerse yourself in industry trends, customer needs, and competitors to inform technical product positioning and messaging
- Lead our technical GTM motion with content creation and delivery. Support targeted marketing campaigns through technical marketing content to increase reach and engagement including: demo videos, white papers, technical guides, training webinars
- Identify channels our ICP are active on and actively participate in the community, including Reddit, Discord, and X. Create content for social media including videos and posts
- Fuel our sales motion by building technical customer-facing content including slides, architecture diagrams, and data sheets
- Enable solutions engineering and post sales teams on Merge product capabilities with a deep understanding of partner platform nuances
- Serve as a product SME at speaking events including webinars, podcasts, conferences, and other customer-facing engagements
Our take
Merge API helps B2B companies navigate the increasing number of APIs needed to integrate SaaS products. Its unified API provides access to dozens of payroll, recruiting, accounting, and HR platforms using a single integration layer. It also offers integration management tools. Together, these features are designed to help businesses work with a large number of APIs without compromising on efficiency.
Merge was founded in 2020 and has already built a large client base for itself, including Deed, AngelList, Ramp and Reachdesk. It has also expanded into new areas, providing support for CRM tools, ticketing systems and project management functions.
After increasing annual revenue by over 30 times in 2022, Merge raised investment funds in a Series B round led by Accel. The company is utilizing this influx of funding to hire additional talent and build out its product into new verticals such as an on-premises offering for enterprises.
