Role
Who you are
- 3+ years in email marketing or lifecycle marketing within B2B enterprise SaaS
- Experimental and growth mindset. You look at data and find opportunities for improvements, and that excites you
- A can-do attitude. You are curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and ready to give and receive both constructive and positive feedback
- Experience with business automation systems — proficiency in marketing automation systems (Marketo, Iterable, Hubspot) and experience with CRMs like Salesforce (including comfort in creating and editing reports) are required
- Detail oriented. You know that every component of a campaign has a job and a downstream impact, so no detail is missed
- Proven ability in owning campaign programs from conception through execution (this includes planning, project management, and tactical execution)
- Excellent project management skills and strong attention to detail with the capability to work on multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously
- Outstanding proactive communication skills and ability to problem solve with minimal guidance in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, data-driven, and team-focused environment
- Strong analytical background and thrives in making data-driven decisions
- Knowledge of regulatory and privacy requirements (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, CPPA)
- Nice to have: Copywriting skills, knowledge of HTML/CSS
What the job involves
- As Persona continues to scale our go-to-market efforts, we’re looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our team. This role is a critical part of our growth engine and offers the opportunity to lead full-funnel lifecycle programs — from strategy to execution
- You’ll be empowered to craft and launch campaign strategies that span from awareness to conversion and retention. In close partnership with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, RevOps, and Content, you’ll create high-impact, personalized campaigns that educate, engage, and activate prospects and customers
- This is a high-ownership role suited for a strategic thinker and tactical executor — someone who’s excited about building and optimizing cross-channel lifecycle experiences
- Own the end-to-end strategy, development, and execution of full-funnel lifecycle campaigns across the buyer and customer journey for certain solutions and buyer personas
- Collaborate with product marketing, content, design, and demand gen to launch targeted nurture programs and optimize cross-channel messaging
- Partner with sales and revenue teams to build lifecycle programs that support sales-assisted motion, lead conversion, and account engagement
- Map the buyer journey to identify drop-offs, gaps, and opportunities — and implement A/B testing and iteration to improve performance
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance to generate actionable insights and continually optimize marketing effectiveness
- Provide guidance and campaign support to cross-functional teams, ensuring on-brand, error-free, and impactful execution

Since founding, Persona has been scaling its offerings and now boasts a worldwide presence, serving clients in nearly every country and supporting 20 languages.
