Who you are
- Are you looking to have an impact on the daily life of millions of entrepreneurs in France (and tomorrow in Europe)?

- Have at least +2 years of experience as a Growth marketer/ Rev Ops / GTM Engineer
- Have a solid experience and understanding of CRM tool (Hubspot or Salesforce)
- Have significant experience in building internal automation process
- Have a good understanding of sales issues
- To have a problem-solving mindset
- Be energized by an ever-shifting work environment
- Have good communication skills to talk with various teams, written and oral
- You are fluent in French & English (level B2/C1 or equivalent)
- An experience in a fast-growing company is a plus
- Ideally, you’re familiar with digital marketing (paid acquisition, conversion, SEO…)
- To speak English (level is assessed and appreciated according to the department you’re applying to)
- To be energized by an ever-shifting work environment
- To be highly collaborative (within your team or other stakeholders)
- Sufficiently experienced to prioritize business-led actions on your day to day activity

What the job involves
- We aim to become the most beloved financial Operating System of French SMEs and Accounting Firms (and soon, European ones)
- We help entrepreneurs rid themselves of time-consuming tasks related to accounting and finance while providing them with access to key financial information to assist in making the best decisions for their business
- Pennylane is one of the fastest growing Fintechs in France (and soon to be in Europe!)
- You will join our Growth Team and work collaboratively with Bastien, our Growth Manager and François, our Head of Growth
- Maintain and improve our prospect database, including scraping, enrichment, and scoring
- Help leverage our CRM to optimize processes, eliminate bottlenecks, and discover new opportunities
- Build internal automation tools and flows to support sales and the marketing team
- Scale and optimize outbound for our growing BDR team
- Implement the IA mindset across Pennylane teams
- Tackle multiple technical challenges with strong business impact
- Work autonomously with different technical teams (data, product) and business teams (marketing, sales, customer success, finance)
- Be at the heart of the value creation of a fintech startup

Our take
In multiple mature markets, companies have been using QuickBooks, Xero and other SaaS solutions for accounting, but it is a fragmented industry with each country using its own software solution. In France, there is no definitive SaaS solution for accounting.
Pennylane wants to overhaul current tools and modernise the tech stack of accounting firms, by connecting directly with third-party services that hold valuable information. Accounting firms can use Pennylane collaboratively by accessing the platform to centralise receipts, create invoices and automate tasks. Instead of sending information back and forth with spreadsheets and photo attachments, both clients and accounting firms can interact directly on the platform.
Pennylane has a significant market opportunity ahead, with an ambitious goal to become the preferred management platform for European companies. The company already claims an impressive number of customers and strong backing which will allow it to further develop its platform and expand to other markets in Europe.
