Who you are

2+ years CSM relationship, account management, or consulting experience working in software as a service (SaaS)
Demonstrated track record executing against and exceeding expansion and retention goals
Strong organizational, project, and time management skills
Ability to facilitate meetings and product trainings with customers and users of various levels of professional seniority
Deep empathy for customers and curiosity to understand their needs and wants
Hands-on experience digging into the data yourself, becoming an expert in Excel, SQL, and other analytic automation tools like Alteryx, Boomi, etc
Ability to move quickly and think out-of-the-box to ensure our customer and our team’s success

What the job involves

Owning the relationship with and success of our largest, most valuable customers
Renewing customer contracts and, working in lockstep with sales to develop account expansion strategies to hit upsell targets
Analyzing customer accounts and identifying churn signals early
Onboarding and training new customers, working closely with Sales to ensure a smooth hand-off
Collaborating with product management to surface customer requests and help translate customer feedback into product requirements
Designing and implementing both high-touch and 1-to-many strategies to better serve our customers and improve our team’s efficiency
Helping to build out our CSM playbook as we continue scaling the function and team

Our take

The Parabola platform aims to simplify automating routine tasks. Using a drag-and-drop interface, Parabola eliminates the need for programming knowledge and enables users to automate repetitive tasks within programmes such as Excel or Google Sheets and between software, for example, taking data from Salesforce to send targeted emails to a specific set of customers.

With the aid of a $24M financing round led by OpenView, the company is expanding its team and product capabilities. This is off the back of Parabola's success with the Shopify connector product, which took advantage of the upsurge in online shopping and opened up a huge market of e-commerce businesses.

There are several other successful businesses, such as Integrify and RoboTask, each with similar offerings for task automation. Parabola differentiates itself from these competitors through continued innovation in e-commerce, including the integration of the Shopify platform, a huge time saver for online retailers.
