- You live in the Netherlands and are open to working in our brand new office in Amsterdam
What the job involves
- As a Business Development Representative, you’ll open doors at enterprise level across multiple markets, start conversations with C-level decision-makers, and build the pipeline that fuels our growth. This is your ticket to becoming an Account Executive. This is where strong sales careers begin
- You will build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads for the UK market
- You proactively reach out to prospects through cold calling, email and LinkedIn. Expect volume: you’ll be making a high number of calls every day and turning conversations into opportunities
- Let’s be honest: some days will be tough. Prospects won’t pick up. Other days, you’ll book meetings back-to-back. Sales is a rollercoaster, if that excites you, and you have the resilience to push through, you’ll love it here
- You research and analyse target accounts to uncover their business challenges and identify how Peripass can bring value
- You present high-impact use cases to prospects, showcasing how leading companies already benefit from Peripass
- You represent Peripass at fairs and events together with the Sales team
- You’ll report directly to our Head of Business Development
- Kickstart your career in tech sales: as a BDR, you’ll dive into enterprise SaaS sales with a complex, high-value product. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with large organisations, learn the ins and outs of enterprise tech sales, and build the skills to become a top-performing sales professional
Our take
Warehouses and production lines increasingly employ technology to boost efficiency, but businesses often give little thought to supply-chain logistics beyond their facilities. Peripass provides yard management software for logistics and production sites, allowing them a better view of the arrival and departure times of trucks, to reduce loading and unloading wait-times across the industry.
Founded in 2016, Peripass aims to combat the inefficiency that surrounds trucks entering and leaving sites. This means the right goods are sent to the right gates, and are received by the right people, and also allows the business to avoid unnecessary waiting costs – which Peripass claims can be reduced by 85% overall with its technology.
Peripass is active at more than 120 logistics and production sites across Europe, boasting an impressive client list. Investment in the company has gone towards improving product utility, with further funds expected to enable the company to scale with the growing supply chain management industry.
