Who you are
- 5 years+ experience in a similar role
- Professional hands-on experience planning and running events, including budget, stakeholder, and logistics management
- Super-organized, and detail-oriented, with experience in project managing multiple events at one time
- A flexible approach, able to think quickly and independently to resolve unexpected glitches to ensure events run seamlessly
- Enjoy building relationships, comfortable negotiating, and influencing
- A great communicator
- Enthusiasm to drive projects through to completion
- Someone with an eye for design
- Investment/Finance/Fintech Industry event knowledge is highly desirable
- Excellent spoken and written English (someone who speaks another European language would be an advantage but not essential)
What the job involves
- Reporting to the Director of Marketing - UK & DACH, you’ll be joining our fast-paced, friendly marketing team, based in Canary Wharf on a hybrid working arrangement, with frequent travel in Europe
- As our Head of European Events, you will be planning and delivering a variety of events to engage, educate and delight our clients and the public and further strengthen our brand
- Planning, delivering, and attending engaging events that strengthen our brand and successfully contribute to company objectives and overall marketing goals
- Client-focused delegate management including invitation production, joining instructions, and at the event
- Manage the annual events budget for London, Germany and industry events
- Working closely with the broader marketing team and regional manager to ensure events are part of the overall integrated marketing plan
- Managing all required marketing materials, event branding, and gifts from ideation to delivery
- All administrative tasks relating to events - negotiating deals, managing contracts, invoices, etc
- Supporting other marketing projects from time to time
- Regular European travel to ensure the smooth running of events

Whilst it is undeniable that the investment platform market has become highly saturated in the last few years, eToro has taken the unique angle of combining its trading platform with tools and resources that help to educate its users. Through this approach, the company aims to increase accessibility to smart investment strategies, whilst reducing the risk associated with investing as a non-expert.
