Performance Lead Engineer, Oxa

• Experience in developing performance monitor tools and services, this will be facilitated with design review meetings with stakeholders in relevant Families, Architecture, and those within your team
• Demonstrable experience in managing / facilitating teams with diverse backgrounds and skill sets
• Demonstrable experience in thinking across the different disciplines within your team
• An understanding of how technical changes within the team impacts the system as a whole. This will be

• Strong alignment with your Stream Lead through a regular cadence of planning and review meetings with appropriate documentation

• Experience in optimising GPU / CPU and system performance

• Our Lead Engineer is responsible for leading the Performance team in or Reference Platform Stream
• The Performance team is focused on the development of measuring and improving system performance
• The role as Lead Engineer includes the management and leadership of a diverse group of individuals with varying skill sets that all work towards the requirements of the team
• Accountable for maintaining and developing core performance monitoring tools that span both hardware and software (e.g., messaging rate monitoring, CPU/GPU performance monitoring, network, power, etc.)
• Reporting on metric progress and roadmap of the team (delivery and team health).
• Scoping new capabilities and defining metric-based objectives for the work assigned to the team
• Roadmapping the features to be developed over the next quarter, year. That roadmap should directly link with the Stream’s capability roadmap and you should also have a direct line of sight to the relationship with the broader company’s goals and roadmaps
• Creation / maintenance for documenting of the performance tools, services and dashboards
• Resource assignment, forecasting, requests, and justification for more heads (new hireor transfer)
• Input into performance reviews of team members with the relevant Family Lead
• Immediately addressing and resolving any internal/external issues
• Coordinating and facilitating alignment meetings / progress reviews
• Defining and documenting the vision of how the team's solutions will serve the “customer’s" needs (where customers could be other teams or other parts of the business
